Hi thanks for visiting our blog. In early September 2011 a group of friends are swimming the Channel in aid of St Helena Hospice Colchester, Samaritans and Heart of the Valley First Responders. Paul Oxley, Paul Salmon, Angela Greneski, Chris Swainsbury, Melissa Dowell and I (Mike Longman) have been training since early Summer last year, swimming at Frinton, Gosfield Lake and in Halstead Pool. We are being coached by Roger Duncombe (Head Coach Halstead Swimming Club)
